From Origination to RTB
Project Development
at every stage
Six connected phases, all managed in-house — combining local experience, structured processes and proven capacity to deliver mature projects.

1
Origination & Site Assessment
1/6
We identify the best opportunities in the market. We combine continuous reading of the Spanish energy market with a proprietary GIS methodology to rapidly pinpoint sites with favorable resource, grid and administrative context.
- Site identification
- Preliminary wind / solar resource analysis
- Grid access screening and connection application
- Auction preparation and assessment
2
Land Management & Community
2/6
On-the-ground land management team. On-site land agents secure siting control through direct negotiations with landowners and municipalities. We treat this relationship as a long-term partnership.
- On-site land agents
- Experience in lease negotiations
- Notarial and real-estate management
- Ongoing support from the GIS team for efficient, coordinated fieldwork
- Stakeholder and community management
3
Permitting & Administration
3/6
Full regulatory follow-through to Ready to Build (RTB). We file and secure the Grid Access Feasibility Report with REE or the DSO, coordinate environmental assessments and prepare the management documents, timelines and reporting that corporate and institutional partners require at each steering committee.
- Grid access applications
- Environmental assessments (EIA / DIA) and Engineering (AAC)
- Regulatory management through RTB
- Management documents, timelines and reporting for investors
4
Procurement & Equipment Purchase
4/6
Complete post-RTB delivery. Equipment procurement and contracting handled with the rigor required for large-scale infrastructure transactions. We prepare the documentation for financial close — including risk management.
- Equipment procurement
- Contracting
- Documentation for financial close and RTB readiness
- Full RTB package delivery
- Integrated risk management
5
Construction
5/6
From Ready-to-Build to operating infrastructure. Once the Construction Authorization (AAC) and RtB are in place, we oversee the construction phase. We maintain coordination with the authorities, landowners and community, and ensure fulfilment of the commitments assumed during permitting.
- On-site supervision
- Management of relations with the authorities during construction
- Fulfilment of permitting commitments
6
Operation
6/6
Continued support after commissioning. We stay alongside the project during the operational phase: landowner and community relationship management, technical performance monitoring, regulatory incident support and reporting.
- Contract Management
- Owner and community relations
- Technical performance monitoring
- Support for regulatory incidents
- Reporting to the institutional partner
Green Hat’s key added value lies in developing projects locally under the same standards, regardless of project size — combining solid land and stakeholder management with the rigor needed to defend each project before the competent authorities and the sector stakeholders involved.
